Artist Statement
My work explores the relationship between perfectionism and deconstruction. I work within the conflict of desire to make beautiful objects, destroying the outcome, and reconciling the two to create a finished piece.
Much of my art is made through the lens of internalized objectification and the process of aging as a woman in a patriarchal world.
